What verification covers

A verification badge means we have checked the business's identity and, where offered, its relevant credentials or documentation. It tells you the profile is being operated by the business it claims to be.

What it does not mean

Verification is not a licence to practise, and it is not a guarantee of the quality or outcome of any service. Always confirm a provider's professional credentials independently when treatment is involved.

How a business gets verified

The business submits documentation; we review it and apply the badge when it checks out. Badges can be removed if a business later fails reviews or is suspended.

Businesses without a badge

Not every trustworthy provider has a badge yet. Badges are a helpful signal but not a substitute for your own due diligence.

Report a concern

If a business misrepresents its credentials, reports it through the report button or the contact form.
